I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph some incredible new t shirts for the streetwear/music brand fourthreesix.
Four three six are a startup brand based in the Midlands enhancing the link between music, art and fashion. The premise of the brand is that in any city or town around the world there is a thriving subculture when you scratch below the surface. There are makers and creators sometimes just seconds from the high street that will provide an exciting alternative to the homogenised consumer culture we find ourselves in the grasp of. four three six amplify this culture through events (having worked in partnership with Rough Trade in Nottingham, Upfest in Bristol and Quad Arts in Derby), podcasts, music releases and through their range of streetwear clothing. Having worked previously with internationally renowned street artists including Mr Penfold and Aeon, and having their musical output championed by Claude Von Stroke, Monki and Toddla T, their new collection – 436 Communications -reflects the ethos of the brand, it’s influences and it’s future.
